  1. To Do Manager for Windows (ver. 1.05)
  2. ToDoWin is a simple To-Do manager for Windows 3.1. Items are sorted
  3. by date and priority in a listbox, and color-coded to indicate status
  4. at a glance. It is designed to be simple to use, and small in size.
  5. Features include:

  7. - Listbox summary of items, color-coded by date/status.
  8. - Allowance for detail fields, up to 64k.
  9. - Dates can be assigned to an item, or the item can be left
  10.   "undated", implying "to be done sometime".
  11. - Items can have an optional priority assigned (1 to 99).
  12. - A printout of items can be created, with selection of item
  13.   ranges to include.
  14. - Multiple instances can be run, each with a different list (ie.
  15.   Home & Office).
  16. - Full context-sensitive on-line help.
  17.  
  18. This is a Shareware offering, with US$25 being requested.
  19.  
  20. Version 1.05 works around bugs in certain Windows printer drivers
  21. that would cause them to crash when ToDoWin tried to print.
  22. Also, the behaviour of the icon when ToDoWin is minimized has been
  23. changed to make it more informative and less distracting, and some
  24. more minor user-interface changes were made.

  29. Also included in this ZIP are three useful utilities, a free gift
  30. from the author just for trying out ToDoWin. These utilities include:

  32. -The FM_UTILS extension DLL for File Manager, which  allows users to
  33. add an extra menu with fully customizable entries to run *any*
  34. external program, passing in selected file names. FM_UTILS also
  35. allows you to specify certain programs to start with File Manager,
  36. and close when File Manager closes. Refer to FM_UTILS.TXT.

  38. -BURNIT.EXE is a simple drag'n'drop utility to delete files that are
  39. dropped on it from File Manager. This particular version is simple in
  40. that it does not allow "undeleting" of files dropped on it. Refer to
  41. BURNIT.TXT.

  43. -EXITEXEC.EXE is a simple utility that you set up as a program icon
  44. in Program Manager, along with a command line for a DOS program. When
  45. run, EXITEXEC will exit Windows entirely, run the specified DOS
  46. program, and restart Windows. Useful for those games and other
  47. programs that you simply can't run from within Windows. Refer to
  48. EXITEXEC.TXT.

  50. All of these utilities are contained in UTILS.ZIP, and full C source
  51. is available to registered users of ToDoWin.
